Who we are

What we collect
When you ask for a quote, book a job or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number and email address, your postcode, the make and model of your vehicle, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in a message. If you send photos of your vehicle, we keep those too.
When you book, we also keep a record of the work, the dates, what you paid and how. We do not store card numbers; card payments are handled by our payment provider.
When you visit this website, some basic technical information is collected, such as the pages you view and the type of device you use. Our cookies page explains this.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to you, prepare a quote, book and carry out the work, arrange collection and delivery if you ask for it, take payment and provide aftercare under our guarantee. We also keep records we are required to keep for tax and accounting.
We will only send you marketing, such as offers or news, if you have told us you want it, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Our lawful bases
We rely on the following under UK data protection law: taking steps at your request before a contract and carrying out that contract (quotes, bookings and the work itself); our legitimate interests in running and improving the business and replying to enquiries; legal obligations such as keeping financial records; and your consent for any marketing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the organisations that help us run the business, and only as much as they need: the provider of our customer management and booking system, our email and telephone providers, our payment provider, our accountant, and our insurer if a claim is ever made. Each is required to keep your information secure and use it only on our instructions.
Some of these providers may store information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as approved contract terms.
How long we keep it
If you ask for a quote and do not go ahead, we keep your details for up to 12 months in case you come back to us, then delete them. If you become a customer, we keep your records for six years after the work, which is how long we must keep financial records, and so we can honour our guarantee.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a format you can take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.
